Running For Matthew

Go to content

is a website dedicated to raising money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance. It was set up after the death of one of my younger brothers, Matthew, in a car accident a few months ago. The Air Ambulance receives no Government funding, and relies totally on the generosity of people like you to keep it in flight.

In April I am running the London Marathon with my friend Maria. My family have already raised almost £2,000 running various local and national races. We aim to add another £3000 to that total.

If you are able to contribute; either by
sponsoring, buying one of our raffle tickets or attending the fabulous Big Birthday Bash - then please do. You would be helping people, like my brother, to have a chance where they might otherwise have none.

Accidents happen. All you can hope is that they don't happen to the people that you love; or if they do; that someone is there to help them. The East Anglian Air Ambulance attended approximately 1500 incidents last year; each one of those people was someone's "Matthew". Please help us to help keep this life saving service in flight for the sake of all our families. I hope sincerely that you never need it.
